On 10 December 2024, His Excellency Ambassador CHHEANG Thyra paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Frank Hartmann, Director General for Asia and the Pacific at the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.

During the meeting, the Ambassador highlighted the longstanding friendship and dynamic cooperation between Cambodia and Germany, and expressed gratitude for Germany’s continued support of Cambodia's socio-economic development across various sectors. Both parties discussed opportunities to further strengthen bilateral ties, particularly in trade and investment, and exchanged views on pressing international and regional issues.
