Certification of Address of Residence

If you are a Cambodian citizen living abroad and your passport has been stolen, lost, or has expired, you may need to have a new Cambodian passport issued.

Please note, however, that the Embassy does not have the authority to extend or issue new passports. In such cases, you may need to travel to Cambodia to apply for a new passport in person. Alternatively, you can ask a relative in Cambodia to assist with the application process on your behalf.

If you are currently residing in Germany or in one of the seven countries under the jurisdiction of the Royal Embassy of Cambodia in Berlin, namely Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Croatia, the Slovak Republic, Slovenia, or Ukraine, you can request the Embassy to certify your address of residence. This document may serve as supporting evidence for your passport application.

Important Note: Cambodia no longer extends expired passports. Once your passport has expired, you will need to apply for a new one.
